Pictures of Carter

I thought I would post some pictures of Carter for all the CSJ fans out there.  Bear in mind, these pictures are about a month old and he has really changed since then.  I will post some more after this ordination debaucle.

Carter at Camp

Here is Carter at camp where he learned about his favorite toy-dirt.

Future guitar player.

The weather has changed a little since then (the grass has changed a lot)

I wish he would do this at night!

Carter started walking the end of September (9 1/2 mo.)  He has not slowed down since and now he is almost running.  Bonnie has her hands full just trying to keep up with him.

I have the cutest nephew! I especially love the one napping after lunch. I sometimes wish I could do that too.

  3. He is DEFINITELY a mix–I see BOTH of you in him–what a doll! He is precious, and I can only imagine what joy he has brought to you. I know you were hesitant about motherhood, but it doesn’t surprise me a bit that it has suited you so well! Glad you love it! Do you get to stay home with him?
No plans for kids yet. I am very anxious, but at the same time, we are loving our “us” time right now. Josh isn’t quite ready yet. Hopefully, it won’t be much longer–maybe another year. Laura Grace (the little one I watch) keeps me content in that department–we spend LOTS of time together, and while I know it will be different when it is my own, I am SO in love with this little girl! Is Jenni preg yet?
Nice to be in touch again!

Great pics! Yeah, I can’t believe we didn’t stop to see you guys either. I was hoping you wouldn’t find out – but I had to go and open my big blog about it!! 🙂 Actually, we were all geared up to see Salt Lake City, and we were looking for a place to stop and get some kind of picture of the great Salt Lake – we thought it would be a tourist thing and obvious where to stop. We ended up being really disappointed – the place we stopped was a dump! The lake was cool though – but by that time we just wanted to get back in the car and get to our hotel (Elko) for the night. We talked about finding a phone book and calling you guys – should have done it ahead of time. Really though, that was the tail end of the trip that we were just trying muscle through and another stop seemed like it would add another year to the trip. I would have loved to see you guys! But I do recall a trip you guys made through Minneapolis in which I didn’t see you either. All the more reason for me to stop and see you, I know! I’ll be praying for you on Friday – wow, that is a big deal! We have a “Matt Johnson” in our youth group – I think of you! His Mom’s name is Sarah!

You so much look forward to the day they learn to crawl and then walk and then you’re regretting it ever since. Some are a lot more adventurous than others, as I am finding out first hand. They have seemed to get more full of it (or should I say naughty) with each consecutive child. Just a heads up on what you have to look forward to. Can’t wait to see you guys–hope it will be soon!

We’re all doing fantastic. I moved up to Washington in May and have started working on an AA degree as an educational paraprof. I’m still deciding which college I want to transfer to. Good Christian one for sure. I heard you’re now officially ordained. Congrats. I’m sure that was crazy. What God brings us to, He’ll bring us through.
